JAE YEE
Hendrickson Method • Bodywork • Strength Training • Z-Health Master
Jae’s (he/him) our founder (and “J” in JBodyworks), and has been a trainer since 2003. As a Hendrickson Method therapist, he specializes in muscular dysfunctions and soft tissue injuries. His study of the human body started at age 10, where he practiced the philosophies of movement and energy through Chinese martial arts and Tai-Chi. Jae holds over 1,000 hours of study in combined Eastern and Western modalities of bodywork, is a Nationally-Certified Personal Trainer, a Corrective Exercise Specialist, and a Master Trainer with Z-Health.

COREY PADNOS
With over a decade of experience in the fitness industry, Corey (he/him) has a wide range of knowledge and expertise to draw from. Most recently, he finished his Master’s Degree focusing on his interests in motor development, movement disorders, and working with neurodiversity conditions. All of his programs are based on peer-reviewed research and time-tested personal experience. Never shy of a challenge, Corey guides previously-injured clients back to exercising and provides exercise solutions for people dealing with various movement disorders.
Corey has competed worldwide in Kettlebell Sport, has trained as a strongman, powerlifter, and an Olympic Weightlifter. He is a Z-Health Master Trainer and has studied foot biomechanics extensively through Anatomy in Motion. When he’s not training others, you can find him hanging out with his wife and three children.

JULIAN STEPHANSKI
Julian (he/him) is a movement coach and native San Franciscan. He is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Z-Health Practitioner. He has been a performance coach, personal trainer, and rowing coach at different high performance clubs in the Bay Area for 12 years. His passion is to make his athletes better - unblocking them in their chosen sport, be it for the Olympic Trials, or just playing with their kids pain-free.

KITT KELSCH
Mobility & Movement Training • Performance Coaching
Kitt (they/them) is no stranger to transformation, having been through many over the course of their lifetime. Their personal health and fitness journey began with losing over 100 lbs and falling in love with strength training. In 2018, Kitt found themselves thriving in the gym as their performance improved, and felt called to help others find their own paths to health and embodiment. They became a certified personal trainer through NASM in 2019 and is working on their R-phase certification through Z-Health. Kitt is passionate about making fitness spaces safer for and more informed about trans, non-binary, and queer people as well as building community through fitness.

LAURA NELSON

Laura (she/her) is a movement coach specializing in barbell strength training, hypermobility, functional movement, and neurology training. She is Olympic Weightlifting Level 1 certified, a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, and Z-Health certified. Laura’s favorite thing to do in the gym is deadlift! She is known for obsessing over form, encouraging mobility and rest days, and strength training to counteract high-stress environments.
Prior to coaching, Laura spent a decade in the tech world and deeply understands the demands and stress placed on employees. She is a hypermobile individual, recovering techie, mother, and member of the LGBTQ+ community, and is passionate about helping people from all walks of life get out of pain and train for longevity.

AUDRA DAVIS
Hendrickson Method • Bodywork
Audra (she/they) started participating in sports as a young child in rural Michigan. Through the years she was involved in Softball, Basketball, Track & Field, Cross Country, and Figure Skating. As a senior in high school, Audra's time as an athlete ended with a foot injury after the first track meet.
In 2017, they were introduced to Hendrickson Method Orthopedic Manual Therapy, and had such a transformational experience, that they decided to forge a new career path as a Soft Tissue Bodywork Specialist. Audra has since become a California Certified Massage Therapist, and a Hendrickson Method Practitioner. She is excited to be starting her training in Z Health this year. Audra is passionate about helping her clients feel better in their bodies so they can live the life they desire!

NIKKI STALEY
Since 2014, Nikki (she/her) has worked with competitive, recreational and adaptive athletes of a broad range of ages and abilities. She enjoys working with desk-bound professionals and those just beginning their strength journey, guiding them toward strong, sustainable and pain-free movement.
Nikki’s coaching philosophy centers around meeting you where you are. She aims to make movement enjoyable and accessible, with focus on principles over standards. She believes all movement is good movement, and you are the expert of your own body. Nikki collaborates with you to move with purpose and live stronger while fostering a deeper connection with your body.
Outside of coaching, Nikki’s own movement journey has included hot yoga, triathlons, salsa dancing, snowboarding and surfing, in addition to the strength training she enjoys in the gym.
As a NBHWC Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, NSCA-CPT, also certified in Hardstyle Kettlebell, Barbell, and Bodyweight Instruction (StrongFirst), as well as Olympic Weightlifting and Mobility (Flexible Steel certified and Movement & Mobility 102 with Dr. Kelly Starrett) and Plan Strong and Built Strong program design courses, Nikki’s education spans a range of training modalities. She sees herself as a lifetime student and is currently working on her R-Phase certification with Z-health.

ROBERTA ROGERS
NASM Certified • Z-Health R and I phase
After her own personal transformation in health and fitness, Roberta (she/her) lost 80lbs and landed herself in knee rehab. She realized that no one really knows how to use their body. As she got stronger she had the experience of knowing herself in a new way, as well as the world opening up around her. Roberta knew she wanted to work with other such that they are amazed by their bodies and live incredible lives. In 2011 she certified as a personal trainer through NASM and quickly fell in love with injury rehabilitation and surgery prevention. Roberta discovered Z Health in 2017 and had been passionate ever since, certifying in R and I phase. Helping people move through their limitations so that can live their fullest lives is her passion.
